Last night I couldn't stand the sight of my surroundings, so I ventured off on any road I could find that would take me away to somewhere I didn't know exsisted. A lesson learned over and over...it isn't the destination, but the journey that you take. As I thought to leave my life behind, if even for a minute, I swerve in the darkness and am jolted with adrenalin...then perspective hits, I regain the consciousness of my life and turn around. For that moment, I once again appreciate and savor the air that I breathe. I share this with you, my friend, not to document, but to connect and share my weakness as well as appreciate that you are here to read this.
